time for words!

Mama and Dada (with actually knowing their meanings), 'ma-urrrrr' for more, 'tuk' for stuck, 'uh oh', 'no no' for OH NO!, 'die-pah' for diaper, 'al-Dah' for all done, byebye, HI (which he says everytime he leaves or enters a room), 'Nay' for naked (which he wants to be all the time), 'wa-er' for water, 'mi' for milk, 'pees' for please, 'eye', 'no' for nose, 'mou' for mouth, 'dog' (and then he gives a high pitch bark to emphasize his point), 'naaay' for horse, 'ksss' for keys (which if you hand them the whole key ring, he can run to the car, find the right key, and stick it into the car door, and almost twist hard enough to unlock it....oh man, he's going to be trouble the way he loves buttons and driving), 'chz' for cheese, 'cakah' fro cracker, 'ou-sie' for outside, and 'aye' for yes (just like a pirate), 'beep beep', and 'bump' for when he lets gas, 'buh bah' for bubble bath and belly button, 'up', 'dow' for down,'ga-coo' for thankyou (after you give him anything, said with the right intonation-pretty cute), and his most common phrase right now is 'weh-ahh-uuu' for where ARRE you??? it's so cute- he sticks that at the end of any inanimate object he may be looking for...like mr. bear, "beh, weh-AHH-uu??" or the keys "ksss, Weh-AHHHH-uu??", which is followed up with a 'tada' or a scream of excitement when he finds it. he's just started using that phrase to find people now too, like Rayne, who stays with us sometimes, "Wehweh (rayne), weh-AHHHHHH-uuuu???

I'll have to write down the funny things he does lately, but not till later. work calls.

I take it, from the fact that you posted something, that you are alive and well. Once Porter realizes how much fun talking is, his vocab is going to jump up quickly. By the reunion he should be able to boss all of us around. :) Miss you.

Just like Christy, you need to keep a copy of these blogs for your journal. You'll never get around to writing these things again. Love, Mom
