summer 2003

well christy told me that the trick to these things is just posting a little sumpthin every time you get on, so that you don't feel overwhelmed with telling the life story all the time. So here i am, being completely lazy in bed, having just watched some abc.com drama soap opera, and realizing that the computer must go because things must get done today! but as for a nice awkward moment before i resolutely put this labtop away....yesterday mark and i were doing a deeeep clean, which meant that at the end of the fun, I got to reorganize my cd's, because that's kind of like cleaning, and they were on my side of the 'your half to clean, my half to clean' invisible line. anyway- i felt justified. so i'm pouring through cd cases of stolen from mom cd's, burnt cd's, dvd's and pictures on cd, when lo and behold, I find a hidden treasure. well hidden embarrassment is probably a more approriate phrase. jimmy. no i do not mean my brother jimmy. apparently the old boyfriend arises from the ashes by leaving me a slideshow entitled, 'lora + jimmy, summer 2003'....and what a summer it was-- GROSS:( who let me date that kid/stalker? unfortunately while hiding in the corner of our one bedroom house with the labtop in my lap and the horrid slideshow going, i was inevitably found out, and mark tied my hands down, preventing me from shutting the whole thing down. of course mark knows the j-dawg, and was thoroughly relishing in my pain as we both sat through that slideshow. it sucked. oh- and in case you dont remember this not well thought out filler, my favorite pic is probably how you'd remember him best; big boy that looks freakely like our jim's reuben, passed out and drooling on our couch. ok-the drooling part is an exaggeration...maybe.
finally, my house cleaning is complete as that cd hit the trashcan. and now the only memory of it's existence is this blog, which i will be erasing next.
